Visual: Bright garnet colour with nuances of dark cherry. Medium-heavy legs. Nose: Bouquet of wild red berries and blackcurrant, with notes of earthiness and undergrowth. The second nose is richer in spice, floral notes with a hint of oak. Palate: Fresh attack of spice and blackberry, savoury but with a fruit-driven midpalate supported by an elegant tension of freshness and firm tannins. The final is fairly round and supple on riper fruit, oak spice wrapped in a smooth texture.

Meats: Game meats, especially pheasant or duck, and prosciutto. Tapas: Charcuterie, terrine and mild or smoky sausage. Cheese: Soft and hard cheeses
