Visual: Bright and clear pale gold colour with tones of silver and green. Nose: First nose starts off with savoury dried herbs and flowers before giving way to a tight mineral core and some ripe stone fruit. Second nose brings ripe fruit aromatics with a touch of French oak and creaminess. Palate: This wine is all about texture and tension. It is quiet but savoury, rich but bright and fresh, with discrete layers of restrained fruit all along the midpalate. The finish is fairly smooth but tight with nuances of citrus, wet stone and white flowers.
