Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
Visual: Bright dark red cherry with nuances of purple and medium legs. Nose: Intense aromas of blackberries, cassis and blackcurrants with nuances of mocha and chocolate. Second nose is more intense with ripe black fruits, earthiness with hint of undergrowth. Palate: Very smooth and round attack with layers of ripe red and black fruits and oak spices. The midpalate is generous and textural, with great fruit weight, a dense texture and a structure of mature tannins. The finish is long, lush and persistent on fruit, oak vanilla and sweet fruits.
Food Pairing Notes
Meats: barbecue, steak, lamb, and pork. Fish: salmon, tuna and freshwater fish. Meals: great match for pizza and pasta.
