Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
Visual: Bright and intense red ruby colour with nuances of dark cherry. Medium- heavy legs.
Nose: Complex aromatics of intense ripe red cherries, with a touch of earthiness, a nice integrated oak flavour and a hint of dry flowers.
Palate: Bright and fresh attack of wild red berries with firm, but mature, and integrated tannins.
Second Palate: broad and rich on red fruit, floral notes and oak spices, good tension between the primary fruit, minerality and freshness.
Food Pairing Notes
Game meats such as duck and pheasant.
Fish: salmon, trout, tuna.
Also lovely with charcuterie and soft cheeses.
